GES073 - Muscal House, London

Sometimes it's nice to have something to explore that's within walking distance of your house, rather than racing across the city. At around 12 floors high/30m, it's not the highest, but due to the lack of similar height buildings, it gave a good view.

A similar M.O. to most of my rooftops, up before dawn, down afterwards. It's always special watching dawn coming up. This is obviously pre-dawn, looking West to Charing Cross Hospital.

And then North as the night sky begins to give way to the red of dawn coming from the East.

The sky breaks further, the City comes into the first light, in the immediate foreground is Queen's Tennis club.

Buildings always look their best when catching the dawn light I think, this is Charing Cross Hospital.

A bit further up from Charing Cross Hospital, and Hammersmith Broadway, previous explore St. Paul's Church and I think that's the Universal Records building looking like a building of Gold.

The massive humps of Earl's Court and the City behind.

Somewhat bizarrely for this high up, there were swarms of midges.

A last gander over Queen's Tennis Club, in full swing for it's Pre-Wimbledon events.

And with that it was a quiet descent down the scaff stairs past the sleeping inhabitants inside. A 5min walk home, breakfast in the garden and back to bed for a few hours. Nice!
