Le Marc and I weren't having much luck at finding industrial explore opportunities, research wasn't paying off, large derelict factories were being torn apart and proving hard to get into without waving at workers on the way in. We drove out of town and passed through Rasnov. On the other side of the town we caught site of this former chemical factory, looking like a set from a post apocalyptic movie. We initially dismissed it, but on the way back, mostly through a certain level of desperation, we decided to stop off.

As far as somewhere to grab photos of post apocalyptic vistas, it was pretty good. One can just imagine John Conner running from a line of terminators here.

All around the site, there were men hammering away, most likely taking the bricks. There being no metal visibly left. Apart from out of reach at the top of this cooling tower.

One of the few perilous buildings it was possible to climb without getting immediately killed. Although GE099 and myself had to climb the stairs separately due to falling rubble on the stairs.

There not being much to see, and a slight concern about carrying expensive camera equipment with nefarious types around the site, we headed back to the car.
