GES002 - Battersea Power Station (Friends Trip)

A non-explorer friend of mine, Scott, had recently got a dSLR camera, and also wanted to do some exploring. I also invited TheSpaniard along, as he'd wanted to do this one for awhile. We got in via the usual method. And went for B side. This is the door up to B side. People with visions of crowbars and screwdrivers really don't know what they're talking about.

Trio pose in Control Room B.

A wider shot of above

We went for the safest chimney base to climb, the NE one, which is less easy for security to see. Although one is still exposed.

Fisheye madness looking South.

Thames fisheye

More posing on the chimney base, well you would wouldn't you!

Wide of the roof.

And fisheye of the station length from B side roof.

We also popped under the Thames, but this route is no longer possible.

TheSpaniard pops up from below.

Just as we were about to leave, I was scouting out the exit path, when I almost walked into the security. Since I'd been coming here, Security had always walked around clockwise, but tonight they went anti-clockwise. A close call. My 8th trip here would be my last.
Hope the trip was cool chaps, sorry not enough time for A side.
